Our Teachers
Hello, welcome to our program! My name is Ms. Jasmine, the founder and director of Tiny Steppers Learning. I am currently obtaining my CDA from Leaps and Bounds. I have been caring for young children for 10+ years through my career as a teacher / assistant before opening my own childcare. I am a parent of 5 children, two sets of twins (3 & 5) and 1 ten-year old. My passion for early education drives everything I do, and I truly love having an impact on the earliest stages of children’s academic lives. In addition to my work in childcare, Iam also a children’s author, dedicated to creating stories that inspire and nurture young minds. I am excited to meet you and provide your child with the highest quality care and education.
Testimonials
“Jasmine and the entire staff at tiny steppers have been incredible with my twins. This is the first place I looked for the care of my babies, and I’m thankful that this is the only place outside of family that they know. They receive healthy home-cooked meals every day and enjoy a stable routine that is balanced between free play and learning play. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a loving supportive place trust their children. I would recommend tiny steps if the roster isn’t full. Jasmine is super busy now that The word is out..” - Sabrina Athena
“I love tiny steppers both of my babies love it there and they cry every time that it is time to go home.” - Kyla Johnson
Philosophy
At Tiny Steppers Learning, we follow the play-based curriculum philosophy, which is a non-academic approach to developing skills designed to provide a firm foundation for later academic success. We help your child develop feelings of security, accomplishment, and self-esteem while living the daily and weekly rhythms that are woven into the cycle of the year. On any given day, we may enjoy art, storytelling, movement, and local excursions to experience the world around us. Children are encouraged to explore and learn through unstructured play, which fosters lifelong creativity and intellectual curiosity.
Location
We’re on Pembroke between Hubble and Schaefer. We’re close to the Lodge freeway. We have a nice sized back yard and we’re located in a quiet neighborhood.
