Marion Krouser- Founder, Lead Teacher

Hello! I am Marion Krouser, the founder of Moore Hugs & Learn Wonderschool. As a mother, I deeply understand parents’ worries in finding high quality care for your child. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for that same high-quality care in my community and wanted to support and unite families in the community.

As an educator and a parent, I know how important it is for children to build their learning foundation in these early years. I have had my program open for 5 years and have put endless amount of love and passion into my program. At Moore Hugs & Learn Wonderschool, your children will be able to thrive and be themselves as they learn and grow!

Ms. Jetta Assistant Teacher

Ms. Jetta has over 10 years experience in childhood education specializing in infant, toddler, and preschool care. As a mother and educator; Ms. Jetta understands that children reach their highest potential when they have 3 key components. Those key components are 1. the freedom to play and explore. 2. The structure and guidance to learn manners and social and emotional values, and most importantly 3. love and compassion. Ms. Jetta is dedicated to helping your child learn and grow in a loving way.

Moore Hugs & Learn Wonderschool, I want to provide an environment that supports the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of each child. Our program is located in a welcoming, spacious apartment in Harlem where children are encouraged to play and explore every day.

We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).

Children will have some outdoor time everyday at mix of both our apartment private yard and the nearby parks and playgrounds. Children need space to run, jump, and move! We will encourage children to participate in all daily physical activities to keep their bodies active and their minds clear.

About our program

• We have created a program that will best develop children’s intellectual, emotional, behavioral, and social skills. We have a balanced and proper staff-to-child ratio to ensure that all our children’s needs are tended to.
• We conduct a variety of programs and always set high standards every time for ourselves as care givers and when assessing the quality of our curriculum.
• All the lessons we provide are designed to enhance our children’s physical and mental growth as they explore the world around them.
• We place tremendous importance on children learning the early stages of age-appropriate reading, writing, and math skills in our program.
• Our curriculum has been developed to prepare them for a more formal school environment so they can thrive the day they walk into their first classroom.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application through our website and our dedicated team will get back to you to enroll. (http://www.wonderschool.com/moore-hugs-learn-wonderschool-3052/apply). Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook. Once all documents including updated medical is on file you will receive a start date in our 4 simple steps.
