It took me a long time to find a place i can trust. Connecting hearts is a well maintained place with lots of activities for the little ones and with snacks provided. I would 10/10 recommend this to any person looking for a child care at an affordable price. Will continue bringing my little one here! Thank you Monica for the awesome service!

Philosophy
At Connecting Hearts Child Care, our philosophy centers on the power of play and meaningful connections. Scientific insights show that play is when a child’s brain is fully engaged and ready to learn, making it essential for holistic development.
We view play as a foundational tool for children to build narratives, form relationships, and develop crucial skills for adulthood. Our environment fosters safety and joy, connecting children to their surroundings and each other, helping them thrive and become well-rounded individuals.
As a trauma-informed program, we adhere to the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) 6 guiding principles of trauma-informed care:
Safety: Ensuring a physically, psychologically, socially, and morally safe environment for families, children, and staff. Trustworthiness & Transparency: Acting ethically to maintain confidentiality and trust with the families we serve. Peer Support: Offering opportunities for peer support at both the child and parent levels. Collaboration and Mutuality: Working together with parents to meet children’s developmental needs. Empowerment, Voice, Choice: Empowering children to use their voices and become their best selves. Cultural, Historical, and Gender Issues: Addressing cultural stereotypes and biases to provide a culturally informed curriculum and services.
