My name is Rosemary. I am a mother of four beautiful children and I started Childcare business when my first son was three years old and I was looking for business that will allow me to take care of him at home and at same time make money. My adventure began when I called office of child care on how to start a family childcare in my house. I took some classes and training towards earlier childhood development. I have acquired over 150’s hours of professional development trainings, that includes CPR/First Aid,SIDS, Basic Health and as well Covid-19 safety training. At Paradise Family ChildCare LLC, we are passionate about doing our job and making sure that every child is part of our special and unique program. We strive to provide quality learning opportunities by enforcing the classroom rules, routine, management, and incorporating a behavior-plan chart. We create an age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans, in which we abide by the State of Maryland and Healthy Beginning. My lesson plan and structure are designed to prepare children of all ages for school readiness. In order for my corrective action to yield a positive result, I must be firm, respectful, loving, patient, and model each behavior, to the class each day. My children will be responsible and ready to come to childcare each day and return home happy in a safe environment.

Filosofía

At the core of my teaching philosophy is the firm belief that every child can learn at their utmost potential. I believe in creating an atmosphere where learning can be fun and exciting, students become eager to learn and excited to show up in class daily. I strive to capture the interest of children through fun, enjoyable, challenging, but rewarding learning experiences. I am a teacher for all students regardless of race, color, cultural diversity, religion, or economic background. My students are tutored to respect each other’s similarities and differences and recognize the uniqueness of each individual. In my childcare program, children are nurtured and encouraged to develop at their own pace. I have become thoroughly convinced that a good and trusted listening ear helps children build confidence in an environment that allows children to freely express their intentions with words through oral or verbal communication. In my childcare program, I try to provide for my children with such a loving environment daily. Each child has unique God-given learning potential and my job as a teacher is to empower the child’s ability to reach that inner strength in their academic, physical, mental, emotional, and social development. My goals are to encourage mastery of relevant knowledge in my students, transmit information clearly and concisely, be a role model to my students, help them develop critical thinking skills, and encourage the love of learning in every student in my childcare program. In my classroom, I focus on preparing my children to acquire life skills through reading, speaking, interacting, listening, and general communications that happen between me, parents, and the children in my program. In my program, I provide an enriching environment for every child by creating lesson plan activities from toddler’s to per-school. I have lesson plans for smaller groups and individuals to ensure that each child are included and challenged within their own Zone of Proximal Development.
